Aaron Rodgers Won't Commit To Being The Opening Day Starter For The Packers In 2021

There is still no closure on the situation between quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, so it's uncertain whether he will be the starting quarterback in 2021.

Rodgers has been vocal about his displeasure with the situation in Green Bay, even though the team made the NFC title game before losing to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

The situation between A-Rod and the Pack has been growing more and more tense, and Tuesday at "The Match" golf event, Rodgers threw out another jab at the Packers.

TNT’s Brian Anderson caught up with Rodgers during Tuesday’s “The Match” golf event, and asked him whether he will be the starter come Week One against the Chicago Bears.

Rodgers said, “I don’t know. We’ll see.”

There's plenty of speculation that first-round draft pick QB Jordan Love is the reason that Rodgers wants out of Green Bay, but he said that's not the case.

The QB spoke to ESPN back in May and said the rift is more about philosophy than who the team is drafting.

“It’s just kind of about a philosophy and maybe forgetting that it is about the people that make the thing go. It’s about character, it’s about culture, it’s about doing things the right way,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers is taking part in “The Match” golf event being held in Montana. He is teaming up with Bryson DeChambeau against Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson.

The Packers QB and DeChambeau beat the Brady and Mickelson pair 3 and 2 in the modified alternate-shot format.
