Emotions were running high Monday night at Golden Tate’s house where his wife, Elise Tate, was boiling mad at the Giants for misusing her husband’s talents at wide receiver. A very frustrated Elise took to Instagram Story where she went on a rampage over the 25-23 loss and what went wrong on the offensive side of the ball.
“SO UNDER UTILIZED. AS HIS WIFE I CANNOT EVEN WATCH WITH ONE EYE OPEN!!!!!,” Elise wrote. “Same exact thing last game. One target in the first quarter – of course – an epic TD. HE NEEDS TO BW FED THE BALL. Period. Watch the film. He always comes down with the ball. His 1000 yard seasons he had targets! Plain and simple and 600+ of them are YAC! Making the most of every opportunity!”
Elise Tate wasn’t done. She had plenty on her mind.
“I’m lit. 11 yrs in the NFL I’ve never said something like this online, but it’s excruciating to watch and killing his stats this year but you can’t have yards on a few to no targets. I watch ONE player, no offense to anyone he’s my husband, but it’s excruciating to follow 15 on the screen and see him WIDE OPEN ALL GAME, then given a chance in the fourth quarter comes down with the big TD and that wasn’t any miraculous catch compared to his crazy highlight reels. That was just normal.”
By the end of the night, Elise seemed to be indicating a team should step up and trade for her husband by Tuesday’s trade deadline. “Teams with Golden would win soooo many more games if they used Golden! He’s a great player and he’s clutch!” she wrote.
Tate, 32, finished Monday night with three targets, two catches for 31 yards and the touchdown. He had 85 targets in 11 games for the Giants in 2019. So far in 2020, through seven games, he has 29 targets.

Had a little break from both kiddos for the first time the other day, although it was nice to feel human again, I spent the time talking about my kids at a baby shower, and later pumping in a parking lot of a mall that I went to, to buy myself clothes for the first time in 2 years, (literally pregnant for 2 years) and ended up leaving bc I was too tired. Who can relate?! #momlife

Wow DR! We were first timers and we will DEFINITELY be going back and next time bringing our babies. We stayed at Casa De Campo, a 7000 acre resort, private, secure with so much to do you don’t have to leave the gates (but we did to go on excursions and highly recommend doing that too)! The service was world class, the food (and y’all KNOW I am so picky about food, g and I don’t even like going out much bc hubby always would rather have me cook), but the food was top of the line. The beaches, the water, SO warm don’t get me started- golden and I went down to the beach and just laid in the shallow water for hours one night talking and hanging out – it’s rare you can just “hang in water” without getting cold!! Overall we were highly impressed with the country, views, people, service and the resort layout that had all types of pricing options from hotel rooms, to villas, to estates on the world rank golf course. Appreciate everyone’s recs on what to do while here – everyone was right!! Too many good things to say about Dominican Republic. We’ll be back! Also- my Golden in the golden hour is my fav! 🤤 @godomrep #ad
