GM On Deshaun Watson: We'll Do What's Best For The Texans

Given all the sexual harassment allegations surrounding Deshaun Watson, everyone seems to have forgotten that the star quarterback has been seeking a trade from the Houston Texans.

Previously, the Texans indicated they had no intention of trading Watson. Now, first-year general manager Nick Caserio sounds, uh, open to the idea.

“I think we’ll take it one day at a time, and everything is pretty fluid here and we’ll adjust as we go." Caserio told SI.com insider Albert Breer on his podcast. "And ultimately, I think we’ll do what we feel is best for the Houston Texans organizationally.”

Nineteen women have filed sexual assault lawsuits against Watson, and more may be on the way. Watson has denied the claims.

But chances are, opposing teams aren't going to make much of an offer, if any, for Watson. The legal process is still in the early stages and criminal charges may be forthcoming as well.

So while the Texans may not trade Watson, they may still need a new quarterback nonetheless.
