Georgia Gov. Kemp Roasts Biden On All-Star Game Stance

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp did not hold back on President Joe Biden for his criticism of Georgia’s new voting restrictions. Biden compared the law to “21st century Jim Crow,” and Kemp was having none of that. He also took exception to the president’s support of moving the MLB All-Star game out of Atlanta, which to be fair, is absurd:

“When the president of the United States says something, you know a lot of people pay attention. But what Joe Biden needs to do is look at a side-by-side of Georgia and Delaware,” Kemp said. “He’s focused on trying to get Major League Baseball to pull the game out of Georgia, which is ridiculous.”

Georgia’s law will require ID verification for absentee voters, and that’s all it takes to be compared to Jim Crow these days. What’s most notable here is that discourse is not allowed. Want voter ID in your home state? Well, now you have the president of the United States campaigning against you and quite literally attempting to damage your local economy. You can’t even send tweets that the mainstream media disagrees with or you risk being banned from all social media platforms at once.

Now we have Joe Biden, who can barely walk up a flight of steps, basically requiring the country to run how he sees fit. It’s authoritarian, and the American people cannot accept this kind of behavior.

Here’s what Biden had to say about the All-Star Game:

“I think today’s professional athletes are acting incredibly responsibly,” Biden said in an interview with ESPN. “I would strongly support them doing that (moving the game). People look up to them. They’re leaders.”

First off, the American people don’t look up to professional athletes or celebrities in general. But this is exactly what Joe Biden and the mainstream media want. Use celebrity worship to funnel the middle class into behaving exactly how they want them to behave, think the way they want them to think and talk the way they want them to talk. In this case, Biden wants voter regulations that benefit Democrat leadership, which of course is backed by the celebrities themselves — and he wants you to want them too.

It’s a scene straight out of Kingsman. Hopefully Gov. Brian Kemp wins this battle because he’s serving as a levy against big government.

    • This is exactly what happens. Many people take the word of mainstream media as gospel and automatically assume these laws are racist without even bothering to see what’s in them. There are so many people disillusioned with how the election laws were manipulated in November because of Covid, and the states are simply fixing them to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

  1. A country gets the government it deserves. Georgia had an opportunity to help derail this mess in Washington but instead stepped aside. Participated in one of the most openly dishonest elections in recent memory. Governor i

  2. I love that Outkick gives us a forum to discuss controversial issues. Chicken-shit rag The Athletic posted an opinion piece about about moving the All-Star game and they disabled comments. Written by Ken Rosenthal, who is a great baseball writer, it was a pulled straight out of his ass opinion piece, based on the current woke mindset. No facts at all, just blind emotion dictated by our oligarchical overlords.
    Thanks Sheff, great article.

  3. Georgia’s law is not at all racist. It’s common sense legislation that protects the voting process. White liberals and blacks like Stacy Abrams think that blacks are too stupid or incompetent to secure an ID, which, by the way, you need for almost everything one does to live. Again, these people hate white folks, America and it’s history.

    • Dun is exactly right. Biden’s position is very demeaning. Are these voters unable to drive, buy alcohol or tobacco, fly on airplanes? I don’t hear any opposition to ID requirements for these activities.

Someone made a great point also that baseball writers probably have to show identification to get into cover the All Star game.

  4. Good for the Governor. This has to be the start of the reversal of this BS. Love seeing him telling some weak, demented old man (the president) how it is. Let the MLB move. Principle has to be set AND maintained. NOBODY cares what athletes and entertainers think about what`s important. If Lebron`s for it, you WANT to be against it. Good article.
