Former UFC Women's Champion Ronda Rousey Announces She's Pregnant

Ronda Rousey was known as the "Baddest Woman on the Planet" when she stepped into the UFC ring.

Now she might have to trade that in for "Baddest Mom on the Planet."

The former UFC and WWE superstar announced Wednesday morning that she and husband and fellow mixed martial artist Travis Browne are expecting a baby.

WWE on Fox tweeted out the news about Rousey's pregnancy.

Rousey has been quiet for the last two years, leaving WWE after main eventing WrestleMania 35 and losing to Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

It was a historic match because it was the first time in the 35 years of the event that women closed out the show.

Rousey left the company immediately following the match. She was very vocal during episodes of the WWE produced show "Total Divas" that she and her husband wanted to have a child.

The 34-year-old went 12-2-0 in her UFC career, capturing the UFC women's title as the first female UFC Champion beating Miesha Tate back in 2012.

She left UFC and joined WWE in January of 2018 at the conclusion of the women's Royal Rumble match, setting up a match at Mania in which she teamed with Kurt Angle against good friend Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

Rousey won the WWE Women's SummerSlam Title in August of 2019.
