Florida Dem Nikki Fried Compares Governor Ron DeSantis To Adolf Hitler

Videos by OutKick

Despite President Joe Biden’s knack for retreating to a bunker, Florida Democrat and Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried’s foremost image of the modern Adolf Hitler is Florida governor Ron DeSantis.

Citing his increasing popularity among Americans, built upon his post-pandemic strategy that restores free will for civilians wary of restrictions, Fried mounted her charges by accusing DeSantis of “banning books,” “making it harder to vote,” and operating a state-led militia.

The media has frequented the militia narrative on DeSantis’ Florida State Guard without ever citing the civilian-led group’s objective to provide aid during times of natural disaster.

During a podcast interview on Friday, Fried doubled down on her Hitler comparison — targeting one of the few governors that hasn’t demanded documentation to enter establishments.

“He is doing everything possible to take power away from local governments, taking away people’s abilities to protest, making it harder to vote, talking about, you know, banning books,” Fried stated. “That’s what dictators do. Instead of listening and trying to govern with the people, he is trying to govern over the people, and, you know, that, I’m sorry, I’m a student of history, too. I saw the rise of Hitler.”

“Are you comparing DeSantis to Hitler?” asked the interviewer in a baffling query.

“In a lot of ways, yes,” Fried declared. “I have studied Hitler and how he got to power, you know, wanting his own militia.”

The supposedly unbiased media have racked up their allegations toward DeSantis since the start of 2020 as Democratic governors fail to recreate the public image or post-pandemic success that the Sunshine State governor has tirelessly fought for.

MSNBC anchor Joy Reid previously identified DeSantis’ Florida State Guard as a fascistic grab for power — letting you know the validity of that accusation.

Political chicanery continues to make asses out of Dems … and Hitler was a bit of an ass, need we say more?

  1. Did she see what Joe Biden has done with the mandatory vaccine and trying to end the filibuster? That’s what a dictator does! Also having the media and social media do what he says and ban free speech. That’s a dictator. The university and high school should demand her diploma’s back.

  2. In the 1,000s of years before “Adolph YouKnowWho” became History’s Most Often Compared Really Bad Guy … WHO WAS “History’s Most Often Compared Really Bad Guy”? … Was it Genghis Khan or Henry VIII or Vlad The Impaler or Caligula or The Sheriff of Nottingham or … or … or … ??? Inquiring minds want to know?
    .
I’m betting 50-60% of her “of color” constituents have no clue who Hitler is/was?
    .

  3. Ah yes, the old “you’re a Nazi” strategy, when you don’t have an argument. Ironic that the most militant, intolerant, hateful, fascists, who are pushing for absolute totalitarian control by their party, call “others” Nazis. Hmm. The people quick to call others Nazis are typically the ones behaving like Nazis.

  4. When your opponent is crushing it and you have zero ways to improve on what he has done, you have to resort to calling your opponent a Nazi.

Nikki still thinks blacks are too stupid and lazy to get an ID…… or maybe she knows she can’t win without massive cheating, maybe both. What books has Ron burned? Dems are the only ones I know in favor of censorship.

    She’s a pathetic, worthless tyrant.

  5. So she’s calling him an authoritarian because he banned mask/vaccine mandates. That’s a new one. You have to love how Democrats think all levels of government should be able to take away people’s rights, but no level of government is allowed to overrule any other to guarantee those rights.

If the governor imposed a mask mandate and then a local government wanted to overrule that decision to remove the mandate, do you think she would still be calling the governor an authoritarian?

  6. Talk about stupid! She has almost no chance of beating him anyway and she just made it worse! The vast majority of residents in Florida LOVE DeSantis and don’t even want him to run for national office because they don’t want him to leave the state.
When will these democrats understand that what the Biden regime is doing is so much closer to a historical dictatorship than any republican would ever try to do???
