Dodgers Fans Get Sloppy During NLDS, But Nobody Got Shot -- It Was A Good Day

As expected, Dodgers fans couldn't get through one game of the 2022 playoffs without some minor violence -- against each other.

The positive news out of Dodgers Stadium, besides the Game 1 5-3 win over the hated Padres, is that as of press time there were no reports of fans being shot or prison shanked during or after the game. But that doesn't mean security didn't have its hands full with some hoochie mamas who showed up looking to drop the gloves.

Get some!

Outside the ballpark, we had Dodgers fans just begging to drop the gloves, but it never came to blows as cooler heads prevailed. This is the type of scene where knives typically come out and someone ends up on a stretcher with a hoochie mama screaming "WHY...WHY...WHY?"

But it's Game 1.

Things can go south real fast in this environment. For the time being, we should celebrate the locals staying calm.

The great philosopher Ice Cube once sang:

Today was like one of those fly dreams
Didn't even see a berry flashin' those high beams
No helicopter lookin' for a murder
Two in the mornin', got the Fatburger
Even saw the lights of the Goodyear Blimp
And it read, "Ice Cube's a Pimp!" (yeah)
Drunk as hell, but no throwin' up
Halfway home, and my pager's still blowin' up
Today, I didn't even have to use my AK
I gotta say it was a good day, s--t!

Pat yourself on the back, L.A.

Game 2 is tonight. First pitch is at 8:37 ET.
