Derrick Henry Wants Titans To Land Julio Jones

Atlanta Falcons star receiver Julio Jones is the latest big name to hit the trade-rumor mill, and Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry would like to see his team make a play.

At least, that's what can be gathered from a Henry post on social media.

Of course, there are a few things Henry may not be taking into account here. For one, Jones is due $15.3 million in 2021. Secondly, the Titans have very little salary cap space, being near the bottom of the league in that department.

Granted, Jones' cap hit can always be navigated, but the Falcons aren't likely to take back much less than a king's ransom in a trade.

Heck, in order to work out a deal with the Titans, the Falcons might ask for Henry in exchange -- at least as a starting point.

But hey, Henry and the Titans can dare to dream. They're already considered true Super Bowl contenders. Adding a talent such as Jones would make that discussion that much more serious.

The Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots and Los Angeles Chargers have all also been listed as possible Jones destinations by Jeff Schultz of The Athletic.
