Davante Adams Is Definitely the Best WR in the NFL

Davante Adams had another absurd game today, catching 10 balls for 121 yards and two touchdowns as the Packers beat the Eagles 30-16. Here's a catch-and-run that Adams punctuated for Aaron Rodgers' 400th career touchdown pass:

I'm a Packers fan so you can call me biased here but there's not a single receiver I'd trade him for in football. To the extent that you believe DeAndre Hopkins or Tyreek Hill merits discussion for the best wide receiver in football, the chemistry that Adams has with Rodgers is impeccable. Any time Adams is targeted you reflexively assume it will be a big positive.

Hill is a greater deep threat and Hopkins arguably has more natural talent, but right now give me Adams. He excels at any route, whether you want him going deep or picking up a few yards on a third and short. He's also just absolutely ridiculous in the red zone. He has 13 touchdowns in 10 games this season -- there are only two games in which he's played but not scored.
