Darren Rovell, Who Accused Clay Of Seeking Attention, Is Now Eating Dog Food For Attention/Money

Karen Rovell, who accused Clay of seeking attention on Twitter and then blocked our leader, has pimped himself out to a gambling site for attention in the form of eating dog food after losing a sports bet. Why? Money. Lots of money. Rovell is willing to eat dog food for every last penny in the world if it satisfies his sponsor.

The sponsor wants eyeballs, and Rovell has made no bones about it: he's willing to do whatever it takes to keep that money flowing into his pocket. If that means whoring himself out by choking down canned dog food, then that's what he's going to do. M-O-N-E-Y.

Those of you (not the loyal OutKick readers, you're too smart for this) who don't get the Rovell bit don't understand that he's rooting to lose the bet. Rovell is literally rooting to eat dog food because it'll mean content, eyeballs, and attention for his sponsor. He'll use his acting skills from his days in drama class to make it seem like he's so disappointed to be eating the dog food. Meanwhile, inside his soul, all he can think about is the cash from the content that will allow him to buy Don Drysdale autographed bank checks and the underwear Wade Boggs wore in an episode of Cheers.

Here's Rovell's attention-seeking bit. I have to run it so we give his sponsor the eyeballs it takes to make sure Rovell gets paid this month.

There you have it, folks. "I do it for a lot of money."
