New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo skipped a sexual harassment course that he himself mandated … and instead had someone on his staff go in his place, a former aide said in an interview with CBS.
Cuomo has been accused of sexual harassment by three women, including two former top aides.
One of those women, Charlotte Bennett, said Cuomo mandated sexual-harassment training for state employees in 2018. Then in 2019, skipped it himself.
“I was there. I heard [the office director] say, ‘I can’t believe I’m doing this for you’ and making a joke about the fact that she was completing the training for him,” Bennett told CBS. “And then I heard her at the end ask him to sign the certificate.”
Cuomo has since apologized for his behavior amidst the allegations, though added he does not intend to re-sign. During the press conference, a reporter asked Cuomo if he had complete sexual harassment training.
“Short answer is yes,” he said.
Per Bennett, Cuomo said in June that he was open to dating women in their 20s, asking her if she thought age made a difference in romantic relationships, the New York Times reported. Cuomo is 63.
“I understood that the governor wanted to sleep with me, and felt horribly uncomfortable and scared,” Bennett said.

If he was an exec at any major corporation he would be long gone its amazing that this grandstanding really arrogant dope is still there they haven’t even stripped him of his emergency powers which could easily be done and he’s on his third term you know everyone knew about this guys conduct couldn’t have been a secret after all this time.

(I hit “post” in error). Harvey Weinstein was a Dem in good standing for many years. It took multiple accusers, but he was finally taken down. Everyone knew about Weinstein and the same goes for Cuomo. The nursing home tragedy was bad enough. Adding the false reporting on deaths should have been enough for the axe to fall. The sexual harassment charges are just more nails in the coffin. Covid Cuomo has proven to be an incompetent, arrogant, bully who doesn’t care about anyone but himself.
And even more recently…Joss Whedon.

No sexual harrassment training doesn’t work. In fact a lot of these leaders institute these ‘mandates’ they themselves skip because of a guilty conscience.
If this training was given in the 90’s, no doubt Slick Willy skipped.
So, he has plausible deniability now. Complete ignorance of what sexual harassment is. Clever…
Andrew would only take the training to get pointers.
