Woman Finds Out Her Ex-Boyfriend Is A Serial Killer Thanks To A True-Crime Podcast
It turns out true-crime podcasts are good for more than passing the time or picking up tips on how to get away with murder. You can also learn something about yourself.
In this case, you can learn that your ex-boyfriend is a serial killer. Or at least you can become 90% convinced that the guy you were once in a relationship with, you know the dark and mysterious one who loved true-crime because he was fascinated with the minds of serial killers.
Yeah, that guy might have been a serial killer. That's according to a TikToker by the name of Emmi. She says she was listening to a true-crime podcast about a serial killer when a checklist of items started being rattled off that pointed to her ex.
The "coincidences" started when they said the serial killer was from the same state as her ex. From there, they gave a time period that the serial killer moved, which lined up with her ex moving to Ohio.
Then the height of the killer matched that of her ex. Then his appearance and his first name. She said, "And then they started describing his appearance, and I literally… exactly how my ex looks… okay getting a little weird."
A little weird is one way to put it. Then came clue number, let's call it, five. She continued, "And then they said his first name and wouldn’t you know it, that's my ex's name."
A True-Crime Podcast Is An Interesting Way To Find Out That You Dated A Serial Killer
Since posting that video on TikTok last week, she's racked up more than 16 million views on it. All the clues and the 90% certainty have people wanting to know more.
In a follow-up video, Emmi addressed the overwhelming responses that her first video received. She started out by telling the doubters that she's not a liar.
She was young at the time and called the relationship toxic. She said "I was young, and I was really stupid, and he was dark and mysterious, and I thought I could fix him."
Well, it turns out that she couldn’t fix him and if her story is to be believed, she's 90% convinced that he's a serial killer. That's almost 100% according to my calculations.
I don't know about you, but when you're that close to 100%, and you say that you're not a liar, then I have no choice but to believe it. If only one of those exists by themselves, then I have doubts.
