Refs Rob Wisconsin In Disgusting Fashion, OutKick Readers Dominate | Weekend Recap

Another great weekend is in the books and we all know what that means:

Time for another OutKick Weekend Recap.

The OutKick family has been amazing sending all their stuff to me on X at @dhookstead and to David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

I'll be the first to admit my weekend was relatively calm. The girlfriend, once again, was gone saving the world and that left me with Dusty - the official dog of OutKick - to hang out. Saturday was nothing impressive, minus half a dozen frantic phone messages over a subject I can't discuss right now. The world is a crazy place full of gunfighters, and I'll leave it at that.

Per usual, I dipped into Dirty Water to spend some time with the boys Saturday and Sunday. Some Duke fans were incredibly nervous ahead of the UNC games, and it appears that was for good reason. Tough loss for the Blue Devils.

As for Sunday, it was all about the Wisconsin/Purdue game. I got myself amped up with one simple message:

Wisconsin will win and not storm the court. Expect to dominate.

Unfortunately, Wisconsin was robbed in absolutely brutal fashion. After a fun first half, the refs stole the game from us, and yes, I wasn't happy.

There were four (!!!!!) blown calls in the final moments. How is something like that even possible? Absolutely insane.

You can see my live reaction from Dirty Water below.

Also, if you want to talk about how random the internet is, my Instagram post below went viral over the weekend. I have absolutely no idea why. I guess everyone hates forking over their money as much as I do. The internet is truly a random and strange place.

OutKick readers celebrate another great weekend.

Now, let's get into what OutKick readers did this weekend. Let's get things rolling with a gorgeous morning view. You just can't beat it.

Is anyone surprised that some were watching college basketball? I'm certainly not.

Speaking of basketball, it appears there was also a little family time basketball this weekend.

It's always a good time to hit the golf course. Fun fact: I was on my high school golf team and TERRIBLE. However, it was a great excuse to get out of school.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't understand the pickleball rage at all. Not even a little bit, but different strokes for different folks.

As for this guy crushing beers, right there with you, dude. Right there with you!

Why not combine golf and beer? The communists simply hate this kind of winning.

I've said it a million times, and I'll say it again. Nobody has better food than OutKick readers. Don't believe me? Take a look below.

You know what else we love here at OutKick? Guns and hunting. Major props to this man.

I don't know what this guy did, but I'll share some free advice. Deny everything and apologize for nothing.

I don't know where this place is, but I'm sold. Get me there ASAP.

As usual, there were more than a few OutKick readers attending church. It's never a bad time to get right with the Lord.

I truly don't even know what this means, but if it means someone moved, then my prayers are with them. Nothing is more stressful. I moved a few years ago, and it was BRUTAL. The only thing that got me through it was a steady stream of Busch Light.

Who is ready for some firsby golf?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Nothing is better than a crisp morning outside.

We have someone spending some time at the dog park. Not a bad way to burn a Sunday morning.

Anyone who says a morning beer isn't awesome *occassionally for a good reason* is simply lying to you. I have them all the time on vacation.

Something tells me that this guy and I would get along very well. Never bend the knee to communism. Instead, crack a beer and watch "Red Dawn" after hitting up the gym.

Well, that's it for the Weekend Recap. Hit me up at David.Hookstead@outkick.com and check back next week for a new addition!
