Usher's Super Bowl Halftime A Massive Improvement From Last Year's Snoozefest Featuring Rihanna

Baby-making music maestro Usher put on a spectacular halftime performance at Super Bowl LVIII. The San Francisco 49ers took a 10-3 lead into the break over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Usher's catalog of hits spans more than two decades, so you'd have to be a real Luddite to not recognize an Usher track.

Joined by fellow mid-aughts stars Lil Jon and Ludacris, as well as Alicia Keys, Usher danced, rolled and gyrated his way around the stage.

Usher, 45, also sported a number of eccentric 'fits, including a shimmering Michael Jackson tribute piece and a rubbery blue suit taken straight out of a laser tag arena.

The roller-skating segment drew the biggest applause from the online crowds. People also pointed to Justin Bieber as a snub from Usher's performance.

It wasn't the perfect halftime show; that honor belongs to Tom Petty.

But anyone who lived through last year's Rihanna Snoozefest could appreciate Sunday's halftime show, led by an R&B titan and radio star for millennials and Gen X'ers alike.
