Tyreek Hill Scores Big With Proposal To Keeta Vaccaro
The fastest man in football is settling down, at least off the field, that is. Kansas City Chiefs star receiver Tyreek Hill proposed to girlfriend Keeta Vaccaro on the Fourth of July.
Hill, 27, proposed to fiancé Vaccaro, 25, in front of a fireworks display at a private party the two were hosting together. Hill said his plan all along was to trick Vaccaro into thinking she was just going to a regular Independence Day party, and then surprise her with a big display.
Once the firewroks were set to go off, Hill dropped down to one knee and proposed. "It was perfect, you know?" Tyreek told us. "I had her thinking the whole time like she was planning the whole party and she was in contact with the event planner and I was going behind her back and talking to him like, 'Hey, we're going to do this and that. Just go with it.'"
If the Vaccaro name sounds familiar, it’s because Keeta’s big brother is NFL veteran safety Kenny Vaccaro. Hill and Vaccaro aren’t the only two high profile Chiefs getting married this year, though. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is also engaged, which means two of the team’s biggest names are both settling down as the Chiefs gear up for yet another Super Bowl run.
Will the older, more mature Chiefs still have that edge that’s made them such a force in the NFL lately? Or will the quiet family life just give the guys more time to study the playbook? Only time will tell, but at least Coach Andy Reid doesn’t have to worry about his star players staying out late at clubs living the single life. They’ve handed out a couple rings, and now are focused on earning a second one of their own.
