Toby Keith Featured On New Song After Tragic Death

Toby Keith's memory continues to live on nearly two months after his death.

The country music icon passed away at the age of 62 in early February after a brutal and horrible battle with stomach cancer. His death sent shockwaves through the music industry, and there were countless powerful and emotional tributes that poured in.

He was a true legend that can't be replaced. There's simply no other way to describe the impact he made on people through his music.

New song features Toby Keith.

While Toby Keith is no longer here with us, his voice is still appearing in new music. The popular Hixtape mixtape from Hardy honors different country music legends, and he released the third volume Friday dedicated to Joe Diffie's music.

To my surprise, Toby Keith appears on the song "Ships that Don't Come In" with Hardy, Luke Combs and Diffie in a new version of the song.

Check out the awesome music below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

Toby Keith continues to live on.

This was a great surprise for fans. Diffie and Keith are both no longer alive, but their music and memories continue to live on for millions of fans.

This song was obviously planned and recorded long before Keith's death, but the fact it's coming out following him passing away makes it just hit that much harder.

It's a reminder that while we all die, you can manage to leave a legacy that lives on for decades and generations after you're gone.

It's great to hear Keith's voice at least one more time on a new song. Hopefully, there's still some more music out there somewhere. RIP to a legend. He is sorely missed, but his music will never die.
