TikToker Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting A Waitress, Headbutting Police Officer In Nashville

It's been a rough couple of weeks for influencers who make a living on TikTok.  The possible ban of the social media app they make their livelihood on has to be somewhat stressful.

Few have had it rougher than TikToker Gabbie Egan.  The 24-year-old, who has 4.6 million followers, turned a trip to Nashville with friends into an arrest for a couple of alleged assaults over the weekend.

Arrest records show that Egan was accused of assaulting a waitress at a restaurant on Nashville's lower Broadway before she is alleged to have headbutted a Metro Police officer.

Metro Police were called to Rippy's Honky Tonk on Broadway by security after Egan allegedly hit a waitress upside the head.  According to the waitress, the TikToker bumped into her as she was attempting to bring food to a table.

This almost knocked the waitress over.  Egan then said, according to the arrest records, "You need to watch out" before she hit the waitress on the right side of her head.  Security was then notified.

After officers arrived on the scene and started speaking with the alleged victim, Egan reportedly got into another altercation.  Witnesses said that she pushed a different waitress and was threatening people inside the restaurant.

It was at this time that officers made the decision to take her into custody for disorderly conduct.  Unfortunately for officers, one officer in particular, the influencer wasn't going without a fight.

Egan is said to have lunged forward while officers were taking her into custody and used her head to hit a Metro Police officer.  Her headbutt caught the officer in the lower lip and caused it to swell.

She added a kick to the officer's thigh for good measure.  When she was finished with her alleged assault on an officer, she was taken to jail and booked without further incident.

According to the arrest warrant, Egan was charged with assault causing bodily injury to a first responder.  The waitress at the center of the whole incident didn't want to prosecute.  Officers were reportedly unable to identify any other victims.

Following the arrest, Egan has been conducting business as usual.  She's continued to post videos on TikTok while ignoring her followers' requests to address the arrest.

This appears to be a St. Patrick's Day celebration gone too far, or perfectly executed, depending on how you look at it.  That's simply a guess until Egan decides to tell her side of the story.
