The Rock Is Sending In A Team To Fix Embarrassingly Bad Sculpture At Paris Wax Museum

Last week, the Grévin Museum in Paris unveiled its newest exhibit: a wax statue of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. There's one tiny problem, though. It doesn't look too much like The Rock.

Most notably, it could use a tan.

And after the internet brutally mocked the wax figure, the Rock decided to take matters into his own hands.

Johnson reposted a video of comedian James Jefferson roasting the sculpture on Instagram. And he promised to do his part to make the monstrosity look more like him.

"For the record, I'm going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at 'updating' my wax figure here with some important details and improvements — starting with my skin color," The Rock wrote.

"And next time I'm in Paris, I'll stop in and have a drink with myself."

Warning: The language in this video is NSFW.

Luckily, the Grévin conceded the wax figure wasn't exactly a spitting image of the famous wrestler turned actor.

In a statement, museum reps said they would "remedy it as quickly as possible." They also added that they would send him new photos once the updates are completed.

But until then, social media users will continue to have fun at the artist's expense.

What is even the point of wax museums, anyway?

Regardless, maybe this monstrosity will end up being a good thing for Grévin. After all, they're getting a lot of publicity out of it and a visit from The Rock himself!

The museum rep concluded: "We are waiting for him when he will come to Paris and the Grévin Wax Museum to celebrate with a cup of champagne."
