Sydney Sweeney Had Another Huge Night Saving Pop Culture

How did Sydney Sweeney celebrate my birthday Monday night in Los Angeles?

She showed up to the red carpet for the new Sony Marvel movie Madame Web with a big smile on her face and wearing yet another dress that sure has the Internet talking. In the movie, Sweeney, 26, plays the role of Julia Carpenter who joins forces with other hot women who will be fighting bad guys.

Solid premise from woke Hollywood, right?

In December, I declared that Sweeney is the Gen Z hero that pop culture needs right now and Monday night in L.A. backed up that stance. Our heroine actually smiled, seemed to be having fun and didn't bitch about the world and her pet causes.

She was there to promote a movie – with a smile.

Refreshing.

Watch this master work the red carpet. She's happy, having an incredible time, living an incredible life. Let me say it again – she's been sent by the entertainment gods to save pop culture.

Did she start talking about climate change or diversity and inclusion on the red carpet? Hell no. She talked about how hot the women are in this movie. That's how you sell a movie. Take notes ‘Snow White’ Rachel Zegler
