Supreme Court Trump Ruling Breaking Keith Olbermann

On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that the Colorado Supreme Court erred in disqualifying Donald Trump from the state’s presidential contest.

The decision was expected, even lawyers in opposition to Donald Trump admitted for weeks the Court would rule as it did.

But based on Keith Olbermann's response, he held out hope that the Court would keep Trump off the ballot. He had quite the Monday afternoon.

"The Supreme Court has betrayed democracy. Its members including Jackson, Kagan and Sotomayor have proved themselves inept at reading comprehension. And collectively the ‘court’ has shown itself to be corrupt and illegitimate," he posted on X.

"It must be dissolved."

Dissolved, huh?

Olbermann commented on another user's post, still in fury, saying "The Supreme Court is full of shit."

He then posted a rather unusual response to a critic of his tirade.

What exactly does he mean?

It's hard to say. But as several users noted, he seemed to imply he either urinates on himself or urine drips from his eyes instead of tears.

Thoughts?

Either way, the Court decision appeared to break Olbermann even further than he was already broken, just like Donald Trump and Covid-19 did a few years prior.

And he wasn't in a stable place before the ruling on Monday. Take a look:

The state of Keith Olbermann should be a warning. He is proof of what years of indignation, political extremism, and loneliness can do to a person.

Still, he had some competition Monday for the most deranged response to the ruling.

MSNBC pundit Elie Mystal also struggled with the news. According to the Q-tip, Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Brown-Jackson are now MAGA zealots.

Damn, those pro-insurrection enablers.

Taylor Lorenz, you are up next.

(At least we know she sheds real tears.)
