Rashida Tlaib Cowardly Doesn't Vote To Condemn Hamas Raping Innocent People

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib refused to condemn Hamas in a Wednesday vote.

The House of Representatives voted on a resolution condemning Hamas terrorists’ use of rape and sexual violence as weapons of war, and it passed 418-0.

While anyone with common sense knows rape is wrong, the Congresswoman from Michigan couldn't bring herself to stand up to a terrorist organization, and voted present.

Yes, an elected American official chose to vote present like a coward over voting to condemn the rape of innocent people. Let me know your thoughts on her actions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com

Rashida Tlaib should be ashamed of herself.

This is a shameful moment for Rashida Tlaib and everyone she represents. There's really no other way to put it. Hamas is a horrific terrorist organization that murdered roughly 1,200 Israelis on October 7th, and has been continuing to fight Israel since the attack.

The war has been brutal, unrelenting and unforgiving. While many in America have taken hardline stances against terrorism - myself included - we've seen a lot of people defending the terrorists.

Not only are some defending Hamas terrorists, but there have always been rallies in open support of the murderers.

Now, you can add Rashida Tlaib's cowardly vote to the list of shameful moments since October 7th. Hamas' goal is to kill, rape, beat and destroy anyone against it. They're uncivilized savages, and I won't apologize for saying it. Unlike Congresswoman Tlaib, I have a spine and know right from wrong.

Imagine lacking the guts to *checks notes* vote to condemn rape. Of course, maybe we shouldn't have expected more from the woman who stayed silent on dead babies and repeated the lie that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza.

Media mostly silent on Tlaib's cowardly vote.

Unlike those of us at OutKick who are never afraid to shine a light and call out clowns in positions of power, many outlets have chosen to ignore Rashida Tlaib refusing to condemn Israel.

The only notable results on Google as of publication came from Fox News, The Detroit News, the New York Post, The Times of Israel, Yahoo News, The Daily Caller, JNS.org and a few other smaller outlets. Where is the outrage? Where is the mass condemnation for a Congresswoman refusing to stand against terrorism?

Let's do a little brain exercise. Imagine if a bunch of Trump supporters raped and murdered 1,200 people. Then, there was a vote to condemn the slaughter and a Republican refused to vote to condemn them. How would that be received by the media?

It would receive wall-to-wall coverage online from every major outlet, and it would lead every single news show. Yet, very few outlets seem interested in covering Rashida Tlaib and not condemning a terrorist organization at war with civilized society.

It's a great example of why people don't and shouldn't trust many media outlets.

Shame on Rashida Tlaib and anyone else not willing to stand up and condemn evil. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
