Man Claims To Be Delta Force War Hero In Insane Police Body Cam Footage

We have a first ballot hall of fame arrest video, and it might be the funniest video you'll see on the internet all week.

Getting stopped by the police is probably going to happen to everyone at some point in life. Hopefully, it's just for a minor speeding ticket and nothing more. If you do get stopped by the cops for something, there's a couple things you should never do. Near the top of the list is don't pretend to be a war hero.

Enter Douglas Henshell.

Douglas Henshell gifts the internet incredible arrest video.

Dallas police have released video of the arrest of Douglas Henshell from 2023, and it's going viral online. Henshell was taken into custody after allegedly pretending to be an officer, according to Fox 4, but that's only the beginning of his story.

Little did police know it, but they were meeting Rambo in real life……by Henshell's own description. Henshell told officers when they made contact with him that he did "15 years, Spec Ops. Delta [Force]."

For those who don't know, Delta Force is considered the greatest direct action military unit in history. The identity of members is a closely guarded national security secret, and they don't run around telling people what they did. Well, that is unless you're Douglas Henshell.

"I was the sh*t...Germany, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Southern America. [Makes dodging motion] I'm the f*cking real deal. They make movies about me," Henshell told officers.

Henshell later claimed his training times are classified and that he's a "f*cking hero. A war hero!" In hilarious fashion, he noted that he couldn't really talk about what he'd done on behalf of America.

"You get to meet a real life f*cking war hero tonight. 9/11. My team went in. Bush called my command and said, 'We're going to war, boys. Weapons free," Henshell proudly proclaimed.

Well, apparently claiming to be one of the most dangerous and well-trained gunfighters to ever live didn't save Henshell. The cops slapped the cuffs on him and hauled him away.

For the record, I've reached out to multiple former Delta Force members to see if anyone has heard of this guy. Would it shock you to learn not a single guy that I talked to has ever heard of Douglas Henshell in their lives?

Keep in mind that it's a small community. The exact size is classified and won't be shared here, but trust that it's small enough that operators know each other. Weirdly, nobody knows Douglas. I guess they didn't get the memo about the greatest soldier in American history. Leave some valor for the rest of the country, Douglas.

Now, I found what appears to be Douglas' LinkedIn page and it does describe him as a veteran. A veteran of what? Your guess is as good as mine, but Delta Force? I can't get a single person on the phone who has any idea who this guy is.

Honestly, if you're going to go down swinging with a story, you might as well go big. Claiming George W. Bush personally called your command to tell you to go "weapons free" is one of the greatest claims ever made on camera.

In case you're wondering what an actual Delta Force operator speaks like, they're pretty soft spoken and down to Earth. They don't talk about the President telling them to go shellack people.

Respect to Douglas for his *checks service* greatest war record in the history of America. On behalf of a grateful nation, I'd like to say thank you. Let me know what you think of the arrest footage at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
