'Outer Range' Season 2 Gets Release Date, First Look Hits The Web

"Outer Range" officially has a season two premiere date.

The Sci-fi/Western series with Josh Brolin is a criminally underrated show that captivated fans in spring 2022 when it premiered on Amazon Prime.

It's a wild mix of "Stranger Things," "Lost" and "Yellowstone." I'm not sure there's ever been anything like it before on TV.

It has the traditional Western themes and story arcs as viewers watch Royal Abbott and his family fight for their land, but there's a lot of weird and strange stuff going on. It's simply an incredible show.

"Outer Range" to return in May.

Due to multiple now-resolved strikes in Hollywood, there's been little known about when season two would premiere. That's no longer the case.

The series will return May 16th for season two, and all episodes are going to drop at once. Fans wouldn't want to have it any other. Embrace the binge.

Amazon also dropped multiple photos from the new season. It looks like Brolin and company will be in prime form. Take a look below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

"Outer Range" is an exceptional series.

The series with Josh Brolin might not be for everyone, but there are certainly millions of fans who can't get enough. Trying to combine "Yellowstone," "Lost" and "Stranger Things" isn't an easy thing to do, and yet, Brolin and everyone else involved pulled it off.

The hit Amazon saga also had one of the best reveals in recent memory at the end of season one. I won't spoil it here, but everyone who watched it already knows exactly what I'm talking about.

"Outer Range" is engaging, dark, makes people question what's going on and very little is as simple as it appears as the Abbott family fights for their land.

Now, we're a couple months out from season two arriving, and I can't wait. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com, and start mentally preparing for a straight binge of the new season.
