Olivia Dunne Shines Light On Potential Future Plans

Olivia Dunne doesn't know what the future holds for her when it comes to athletics.

Dunne was a standout gymnast at LSU for four years, but she really made a name for herself on social media. She's managed to make significant money thanks to having millions of followers across different platforms.

The young influencer's draw is so significant that she once revealed she can charge more than $500,000 for a single sponsored post.

Plus, she'd dating MLB phenom Paul Skenes. Life is good for Olivia Dunne, but what comes next?

Olivia Dunne discusses future outlook

Is a return to LSU in the cards or has that chapter closed? It's possible, and it doesn't sound like she's completely shut the door on the idea.

"So I do have eligibility for a fifth year, which I haven’t decided yet. I am thinking about it… But I do have eligibility [for another year at LSU]. I don’t think I’m going to try for the Olympics or anything after, since I once competed for Team USA and I closed that chapter and went to LSU," Dunne told the New York Post when discussing her potential future plans and if she will continue to be a gymnast.

While staying in college a little extra time is a ton of fun (I'm speaking from personal experience), it doesn't really make much sense for Dunne.

Nobody thinks about her gymnastics career when they think of the rising star. It's all about being a major sensation on Instagram and TikTok, and more recently, being in her WAG era with Paul Skenes.

She's already made a ton of money, and there's plenty of more to be made with modeling and in advertising. How does returning to LSU help her boost her brand?

The answer is that it doesn't. She's a legitimate brand at this point, and she should focus on doing whatever helps grow that brand. A return to LSU simply won't do much to move the needle.

My guess is fans have seen the last of Dunne at LSU. I'm open to being wrong, but if I had to bet, that's what I'd put my chips on. Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if you agree.
