Olivia Culpo, 49ers WAGs Get Over Super Bowl Loss With Drinks & Bikinis In Mexico

It's not how you lead when things are going well that makes you a great leader. That's when being a leader is at its easiest. A true leader steps up during the tough times. Olivia Culpo is a true leader.

The former Miss Universe knows what it's like to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, and she also knows what it's like to come up short while chasing a ring.  She was in a relationship with Danny Amendola for one of his Super Bowl wins with the New England Patriots and for a loss.

So when the San Francisco 49ers came up short in a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, she knew exactly what to do. Christian McCaffrey's fiancé and a couple of the 49ers WAGs, Claire Kittle and Kristin Juszczyk, grabbed their significant others and made their way to Mexico.

A vacation to Cabo San Lucas for some drinks and bikini time is exactly what the doctor prescribes for such a situation. Sure, there's a similar prescription when you win, but that includes celebrating. This trip was about healing.

Unfortunately, the 49ers know something about losing a Super Bowl to the Chiefs. This time, however, they have Olivia coming off of a loss, and they were taking her lead on this trip. Did it help the group get over the loss? Not completely, but it's a start.

Olivia revealed on TikTok, before the group made their way home, how everyone is holding up following the overtime loss. She shared, in a clip alongside Claire and Kristin, that the pain level is still at a 10.

Olivia Culpo And The Rest Of The 49ers WAGs Will Be Ready To Run It Back In 2024

It's going to take time and some more trips to fully get over the loss and prepare for next season. If history is any indicator, this will likely be the first of several off-season bikini therapy sessions for the group.

They're going to be back again in 2024 competing at a high level. They're far too talented to not be near the top, among the best in the league.

Despite the disappointing ending to the season, they have to feel good about where they are heading into next season. A strong off-season should help give them some momentum.
