Ohio Haunted House Actor Cuts Boy After Bringing Real Knife To Work Instead Of Prop Knife

Welcome to that time of the year in Ohio when haunted house workers forget to bring the correct knife to work. IT HAPPENS! Don't believe me? Well, just last weekend an 11-year-old boy was stabbed by a worker at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds' 7 Floors of Hell haunted house. The actor told cops he brought a large bowie knife to work instead of his prop knife.

"According to the victim and a family friend who was him, when they arrived, they were approached by one of the roaming outside actors who was using a large bowie knife as a prop to try and scare people," WOIO reported.

"The actor then allegedly scraped the knife on the ground and began to stab the area near them, accidentally cutting through the victim’s croc-style shoe."

Was it the right call to bring the bowie knife to work where it could've chopped some kid's head off? The haunted house worker, according to the police, understands the huge mistake he made. He told police “using the knife was not a good idea and that the injury was an accident and he had no intention of hurting anyone with it.”

Now, let's all be thankful it was just a slice on the boy's big toe and he'll be fine. It's probably for the best that the boy sacrificed his big toe before some 16-year-old girl lost her hand from this idiot's lack of workplace awareness.

Do I want to live in a world where haunted house workers need to go through a weapon checkpoint before going into work? Absolutely not. But I need these wackos to understand one minute it's a toe, the next minute it's Brexton's neck being shivved.

As you suspected, this isn't the first time a haunted house stabbing has occured. Back in 2018, a Nashville man was stabbed by his friend with a real knife after a haunted house worker handed the friend what was thought to be a prop.
