Preview For New Horror Movie Will Chill You To The Bone

The trailer for "MaXXXine" is out, and it's already taking the internet by storm.

The film is the third installation of the horror saga from Ti West. The previous two films - "X" and "Pearl" - weren't massive commercial successes for A24, but grew in popularity after their releases. Without getting into too much detail, the first follows a group attempting to make an adult movie and the second film tells the backstory.

Now, "MaXXXine" will advance the trilogy even further.

"MaXXXine" trailer released.

The plot of the third film with Mia Goth reprising the role of Maxine is described as, "In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past."

Does that sound interesting to you? Well, I can guarantee the preview is only going to stoke your interest further. Give it a watch below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

If you haven't already seen the previous two movies, then I'd suggest you give them a shot if you're a fan of the horror genre. Just know that they're both true horror movies. It's not "Scream." It's a bit of a blood and scarefest.

The cast for "MaXXXine" is also stacked. Goth is joined by Kevin Bacon, Lily Collins, Michelle Monaghan, Giancarlo Esposito and Halsey. The film is also set against the backdrop of the infamous Night Stalker serial killer - real name Richard Ramirez.

All of that should be more than enough to get your interest levels elevated.

Viewers can catch "MaXXXine" starting July 5th, and something tells me it's going to generate some serious interest. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
