Emotional 'Masters Of The Air' Episode Draws Fire Reactions

Another "Masters of the Air" episode is out, and it's drawing awesome reactions.

Episode seven of the WWII Apple TV+ series about American bomber crews dropped Friday on the streaming giant, and as expected, people couldn't get enough.

Without spoiling much, the episode focused heavily on Buck and Bucky's time as POWs in Stalag Luft III and the targeting of Berlin. That's about as much as I can say without getting into the nitty gritty.

It's worth noting, fans of "The Great Escape" will be very familiar with the setting of this episode and the POW camp. Read into that as much as you'd like! If you know, you know.

"Masters of the Air" viewers react to episode seven.

The WWII series has been incredible through the first six episodes, and episode seven definitely kept the same tone. Check out some of the best reactions below, and hit me with your reactions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

You're truly missing out if you're not already watching "Masters of the Air." It's the first major hit of 2024, and does an incredible job of capturing the chaos and carnage bomber crews had to experience in WWII.

It was a brutally tough job that resulted in an incredibly high capture rate. Making it to 25 missions unscathed pretty much required a miracle, especially in the opening stages of the air war when German air defenses were incredibly strong.

Episode seven was everything fans were hoping for and as a HUGE fan of "The Great Escape," it was awesome seeing the connection to "Masters of the Air" - despite it being an insanely dark topic. The Germans executing those escaped POWs was disgusting, evil, gross and one of WWII's darkest moments.

I'm glad "Masters of the Air" covered it, even if just briefly. Everyone should read more about the breakout and executions that followed at Stalag Luft III. It will enrage you.

Now, there's just two episodes left, and I can't wait for everyone to see how it ends. Make sure to keep following along at OutKick, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
