'Justified' Star Drops Major Hints About A New Season

It sounds like there's still more "Justified" on the way.

The legendary FX show was the best show on TV for its original six seasons, and it's without question my favorite show ever made. It was gritty, a ton of fun, violent, suspenseful and the relationship between Boyd and Raylan is the greatest good guy/bad guy relationship ever put on film.

It returned for a limited series last summer titled "Justified: City Primeval" and in the closing moments, the return of Boyd Crowder was teased.

It was clear FX was setting up another limited run. However, there's been next to no details on what will come next. Well, buckle up because the man famous for playing the greatest villain in TV history has some great news for fans.

Walton Goggins teases more "Justified."

Goggins told Screenrant the following when discussing the future of the show:

"There's always a future in my imagination. Always. I think everybody - all the players involved - want another lap. I didn't anticipate that, and it took a while to kind of jump back into that. But once we did it, we kind of kept it from everybody. I had such a good time, and I think Tim was inspired. And there is more to say, actually. I didn't think there was, but there is. Everything is in line. I think everybody's just waiting for schedules and FX to say, ‘Go.’ We'll see. We'll see what happens."

This should be music to the ears of fans everywhere. There was never a doubt in my mind that FX was going to continue the story after "City Primeval."

What would be the point of showing Boyd breaking loose if there wasn't going to be one more limited run? It's been perfectly set up, and it's now time for FX to execute.

People are craving great TV, and watching Boyd and Raylan battle it out one last time would be something that would absolutely dominate.

The ending in the original series was perfect. It couldn't have been better. The writers put a bow on it. However, the door is now open for more "Justified" content, and as a superfan of the legendary series, I can't wait.

The unfortunate news is fans are still probably years away from more "Justified" hitting our TVs. However, it will 100% be worth the wait if it's like the original saga. That's a guarantee you can take to the bank. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
