Jeremy Renner Makes Surprise Public Appearance After Plowing Accident, Appears To Be Doing Well

Jeremy Renner surprised people Sunday night at the People's Choice Awards.

The Hollywood star continues to battle back and heal since suffering a horrific snow plowing accident at the start of 2023 that nearly killed him.

The accident in Nevada was so bad that Renner's eye popped out and his skull was exposed. After multiple operations and lots of rehab, Renner is getting back to normal.

That even includes a return to production on "Mayor of Kingstown," and it also now includes popping up at the popular awards ceremony.

Jeremy Renner makes surprise appearance at the People's Choice Awards.

Renner walked out on stage without showing many signs of any kind of physical roadblocks, and the popular actor was greeted with thunderous applause.

"Got to say it feels good to be back. This year has been a heck of a journey, and I'm happy to be here with you, the fans," Renner told everyone in attendance.

Renner is getting back to normal.

It's great to see Renner appears to be in high spirits and is trending towards being able to operate like nothing ever happened. It's been a little more than a year since the horrific accident.

The early footage of him in the hospital was brutal. He was clearly in really rough shape, but after 13+ months of medical care, it appears the "Mayor of Kingstown" star is really returning to normal.

I'm sure there's still plenty of more ground to cover for Renner, but every step forward in his recovery journey is great news.

Hopefully, Renner is back to 100% sooner than later. He definitely appears to be heading in that direction, and as a fan of his work, I love to see it. Let's hope he kills it in S.3 of "Mayor of Kingstown." Can't wait.
