Hulk Hogan Had Just $5 Million in Assets When He Died? Hold Up, Brother!
Hogan lost a huge chunk of his fortune in a 2009 divorce to Linda Hogan
Is that all you had in the bank, brother?
One of the biggest pop culture stories of the day is that Hulk Hogan had just $5 million in assets at the time of his death, according to newly released probate records obtained by US Weekly.
Those records, which were originally obtained by Hogan's son, Nick, show that his daughter, Brooke Hogan, is not listed as a beneficiary to those $5 million in assets, US Weekly further reports.
Where's all the money and what was left when Hulk died on July 24 at age 71?

The probate paperwork says there was $200k in crypto, $800k in personal property and intellectual property and $4 million listed as his "right to publicity." There's also a mention of "unknown value" from a medical malpractice lawsuit.
Ah, but what about real estate?
The estimated $11 million in real estate that Hulkster owned wasn't listed in the probate records. According to the American Bar Association, non-probate property — joint property with rights of survivorship, payable-on-death accounts, life insurance, and retirement accounts — does not show up in probate court filings.
In other words, before we go crazy thinking the Hulkster was barely making ends meet, we have to remember that there's still real estate assets, life insurance policies and a 401k, if the Hulkster was setting money aside for his later years.
Guys, pump the brakes on the $5 million number.
Where did all of Hulkster's money go?
Divorce!
In 2011, Hulk and Linda Bollea finalized their divorce & the ex-wife rode off with a reported 70% of the couple's assets in divorce court. We're talking 40% ownership in business deals that Hulkster was involved in and a $3 million property settlement.

That same year during an interview with Howard Stern, the subject of Linda and the settlement came up. Hulk was not only furious that he had to move into an apartment after losing his house, there was insult to injury when Linda found herself a live-in boy toy.
"All of a sudden, I’m getting ready to go to the gym and he goes by in my Escalade…or my Harley goes by and he’s driving it," Hogan told Stern.
Brooke Hogan asked to be left out of Hogan's will and dad granted her wish
Missing from the $5 million probate paperwork was Brooke Hogan who had a well-publicized falling out with her father. Hulk refused to walk her down the aisle in June 2022 and Brooke paid him back by not attending his October 2023 wedding.
After her father's death, Brooke opened up about their relationship and how everything ended.
"I know in my heart I did everything I could," she wrote on social media. "He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this."
Did Hulk Hogan have a WWE company pension?
As has been the case for decades, wrestlers have been listed as independent contractors at the WWE.
