Georgia Couple Arrested For A Margarita Butt Stunt At A Mexican Restaurant
A Georgia couple who set off the Facebook comment section of a small town Mexican restaurant for a stunt they pulled in a booth of the establishment have been arrested.
The stunt involved a funnel, a margarita, and a woman's butt. It was all caught on video at the Rodeo Mexican Restaurant in Waycross, Georgia, and it went viral on social media.
The restaurant issued a statement after the "inappropriate incident" started making the rounds online, which got the small town flocking to their Facebook page to weigh in on the stunt.
Part of that statement read, "We are taking this matter very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation in collaboration with the authorities. Any employees found to be involved will face appropriate actions."
They didn't have to conduct much of an investigation to find out who the customers involved were. That's because the woman in the video, identified as Mary Sweat, according to TMZ, contacted police herself.
Pouring A Margarita Down A Woman's Butt In The Middle Of A Mexican Restaurant Sounded Like A Good Idea
Sweat did so to complain about the video being shared on the internet and going viral. Whoops. That was a miscalculation on her part.
Mary as well as the man seen in the video attempting to funnel a margarita down her butt before going funnel-less, identified as Joe Boyett, were arrested for misdemeanor public indecency.
Boyett reportedly turned himself in first on Monday, with Sweat following suit the next day. See their mugshots here.
Police say the identity of the employee at the restaurant who provided the couple with the funnel has not yet been uncovered.
In addition to the margarita butt stunt video, police say there is another one of the two that shows Sweat exposing her boobs. Boyett then puts his mouth on one of her exposed breasts.
That's one way to kill some time at a Mexican restaurant. I hope they tipped well.
