Entire Family Sucker Punched During What Turned Into An All-Out Brawl At A Florida Lake
A family's relaxing afternoon at the lake took a turn when a man riding a dirt bike showed up. He wasn't one for being told to slow down after speeding down a residential road.
It turned out that he's more of a throw sucker punches at anyone and everyone kind of guy. Unfortunately, the family found this out after one of them told him to slow down.
According to Wink News, it all went down at Barefoot Lake in Lehigh Acres, Florida on Sunday. Dawn Chamberlain, the mother of the family on the receiving end of many of the sucker punches, explains what went down in a video showing the first of two all-out brawls involving a man riding a dirt bike.
Chamberlain's son told the dirt bike riding man, later identified as Joe Vincente, to slow down while he was speeding on a residential road by Barefoot Lake Beach.
Vincente stops his dirt bike by a group of people, casually gets off of it, then punches the woman's son and nephew as well as several others standing nearby. The son is dropped by the haymaker before an all-out brawl breaks out.
That was only round one. A second fight ended up breaking out, involving Chamberlain, her husband, her daughter and another son. That ended with her daughter taking a trip to the hospital.
Head Out To The Lake For Some, End Up On The Receiving End Of Several Sucker Punches
For round two of the brawl, Vincente allegedly had some help handing out his sucker punches to the rest of the family. Chamberlain says they were jumped by a group of nine.
"Nine of them swarmed us and just started hitting two females and two dudes," said Chamberlain. "The one that they got tased, he is the one that sucker-punched my nephew, my son, a couple of other children, and then got me, my husband, my daughter and my other son."
She continued, "All of them are bruised [and] sore. My daughter, she can barely walk because her ankle is still swollen."
Vincente was arrested and taken to the Lee County Jail where he had his bond set at $3,750. He was charged with three counts of battery and one count of resisting an officer without violence.
As for the family, they have some bumps and bruises, but I highly doubt they’re going to let a sucker punch throwing maniac keep them from returning to Barefoot Lake.
