Dylan Mulvaney Pitched The Dumbest Commercial Idea to Bud Light Involving Trans People And Cowboys

Dylan Mulvaney had a brilliant commercial idea at some point last year to save Bud Light.

And by brilliant, I mean maybe the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Earlier this week, Mulvaney revealed at the South by Southwest event in Texas that she pitched a … western commercial … to Bud Light as sales of the embattled brew sunk like a rock last year.

The premise? A cowboy and transgender person would share a Bud Light.

Seriously.

"I think humor can be very healing, and I think it can appeal to both sides," Mulvaney said of the "idea of how to fix last year’s situation" during a panel titled "When Beer Goes Viral" at South by Southwest.

I would've paid good money for this Bud Light commercial

My God. I'm sad the folks over at Anheuser-Busch never got back to Dylan. Apparently, they ghosted her.

Bummer, because that commercial would've set the world on fire. You thought Bud Light was in the crapper before, just wait until they pressed send on a commercial featuring a cowboy and trans person cracking a cold one in some saloon.

I would've paid good money to see it, and Lord knows Bud Light could've used it.

Oh, you didn't hear? AB lost over $1 billion thanks to the Bud Light disaster last year, according to an earnings report earlier this month, and the once-popular beer is no longer No. 1 in the country.

And for those who think it's all over, Bud Light also had an awful showing at the Super Bowl last month despite retaining the services of guys like Peyton Manning, Emmitt Smith and Shane Gillis.

Hell, maybe they should pump out this gem of a commercial. Can't get any worse, I reckon.
