Darius Rucker's Ex Celebrates Arrest In A Bikini While Calling Him A 'D-Bag'

Darius Rucker found himself behind bars early this morning after a pesky little arrest for some (alleged!) minor drug use.

The  "Wagon Wheel" singer – also known as Hootie for you youngins out there – was charged with two counts of simple possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance and a single count of violating the state's vehicle registration law, according to the police report.

Sad! The No Fun League strikes again. I don't know what that means, by the way, but Darius Rucker is a huge Dolphins fan so I'm always #TeamHootie.

You know who's not, though? Ex-girlfriend Kate Quigley, who took to Instagram to show the world her half-naked, bikini-clad body to celebrate Rucker's overnight arrest.

Everyone copes in their own, special way:

Kate Quigley is NOT sad about Darius Rucker getting arrested

When u hear your d-bag ex got arrested …

Yikes! Ok, good to know – Kate Quigley NOT a Hootie & The Blowfish fan. Noted.

So, what's the backstory here? Well, Katie and Darius Rucker dated back in 2020 (great year!) after Rucker and his wife of 20 years called it quits. The rebound fling did NOT end well when Quigley suffered a suspected fentanyl overdose.

Thanks, Joe!

That's not what ultimately ended the relationship, though:

How dare Darius Rucker not check in on his ex after her suspected overdose! Enjoy jail, boo boo!

Rucker's camp, by the way, fired right back after Katie's comments back in 2021, confirming the two were NOT dating when she overdosed. Hootie wanted no part of that, and I can't say that I blame him.

"That Stung. Won’t lie," Quigley later wrote in a follow-up tweet to that response.

Anyway, Hootie's out on $10,500 bond right now, so we'll see how he responds to Katie's thirst trap celebration pic.

Can't wait.
