Couple With A Nearly 35-Year Age Gap Ties The Knot After A Month Of Dating

Here's a fresh reminder that while many claim that love is dead, it is in fact still alive and well.  How else could you explain the Tinder match between a 60-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman that led to a marriage after just 30 days of dating?

If it's not love, I don't know what you call it.  Musician and model Willow Sias Mione and her celebrity optician husband Rob Mione met on Tinder four years ago.  Despite matching, the two weren't able to get together due to where they lived at the time and ended up meeting other people.

The two stayed in contact with one another through FaceTime and text messages, but it wasn't until recently that they connected.  She was in Los Angeles and reached out to him.

Although Rob was half asleep at the time, he jumped at the opportunity to meet up with Willow.  He said, "I was actually half asleep.  I was laying down, I was exhausted.  I heard her voice saying she was in LA and probably had the fastest shower and hair blowout I've ever done in 60 years."

It was on from there.  Three hours into the couple's first date, she had moved in.  After 30 days of dating they decided to tie the knot with Willow's mom, Deborah, serving as the officiant.

Because the internet is full of haters, the couple has to deal with their fair share of trolls taking shots at their nearly 35-year age gap.  Willow said, "They call me the black widow because this is like my second or third age gap relationship…  I don't know why they're calling me that?"

This Is What Happily Ever After Looks Like

Not surprisingly, this isn't Rob's first marriage.  He's been there before, and he predicted 25 years ago that he would find himself married to a much younger woman if he ever did it again.

He told his mother, "If I get married again, the woman I marry, hasn't been born yet."

If that's not fate, I don't know what is.  Some might take a look at Rob's LinkedIn profile and read that he has owned more than 60 optical stores nationwide along with five restaurants and nightclubs and get the wrong idea.

Sure, he's dabbled in some acting and made appearances on reality TV shows, but this is love.  Just ask Rob, "Has she changed my life?  She's completed it.  I'm done."

This is the kind of happy ending we all would be lucky to enjoy.  If these two can't make it then there's absolutely no hope for the rest of us.
