Country Music Star Has Fan Kicked Out Who Threw Beer At Him
There are plenty of country music stars I'd tempt fate with …
Kenny Chesney comes to mind. How tough is he? I could probably take him. Morgan Wallen? He's a lunatic and can't hold his liquor, but he's pretty tiny otherwise. No problem.
But Chris Young, who tells me he's 6-4 and 255 pounds? Nope. Not gonna mess with that cat. No thanks.
But, I'm smart. Well, maybe not smart, but I'm at least not a snot-nosed kid who had a couple Bud Heavys at my first big boy concert.
Same can't be said for one cat down in Texas, who decided to toss a couple beers at Chris last weekend, prompting the country star to stop the concert, call the kid a little "sh*t," have him kicked out of the venue and then threaten to meet him in the parking lot.
The full video of the interaction has since been deleted from social media, but Young did upload the beginning of the confrontation:
Chris Young had enough of the nonsense
The rest of the interaction went like this, according to Whiskey Riff:
"If you can’t fight me in the parking lot and I’m 6’4″ and 255, stop throwing sh*t. I’ll hop off the damn stage right now and piss everybody off in here."
"Hey get that a--hole’s name because I don’t want him to ever come to one of my f*cking shows ever again."
"It was him, but that little sh*t looked me right in the face and said it wasn’t."
For starters, calling someone a "little sh*t" is such a crushing blow. It's always funny, and you only use it when you're clearly bigger than said "little sh*t."
You don't dare break that line out if it's even kinda of close, because it could very well lead to fists flying.
But that's not a worry here, because Chris Young A) is massive compared to this "little sh*t," and B) has more security than the president at his side.
Anyway, a ton of the comments on TikTok are anti-Chris Young after this, which seemed weird to me. But then I realized that it's TikTok we're talking about here and that place is a cesspool for kids just like the one who threw the beer.
Of COURSE they're gonna think Chris Young was in the wrong here. Gen-Zers are never, ever wrong. Ever. You ever tried to tell one that he/she/they/them was wrong? Gooooood luck!
Sane people are with Chris Young, though, and we actually are a little disappointed her didn't just get off the stage himself and punt this kid into next year. Enough talk. More action. We all would've been better off for it.
What did Toby Keith once say? "With a few more cowboys, there'd be a lot less outlaws."
Amen. Rip Toby.
