Clay: COVID IS OVER! Mask Mandate Dropped at Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and Costco Stores Nationwide

Americans are back to participating in their two favorite pastimes without needing to wear a mask: sporting events and buying in bulk.

As Clay correctly states, this news joins a string of headlines that confirm one reality any sane person has already known for months: “Covid is officially over.”

Beginning today, three of the nation’s largest grocery chains, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and Costco, will no longer require customers to wear a mask when shopping at any of their locations. The lifting of restrictions has been approved for all Americans that have received full vaccination, no proof needed.

The news is an outright HALLELUJAH to anyone that has ever walked right up to a storefront only to walk 10 minutes back to their car to grab a mask or forced to wear their wife’s spare.

The guidelines still encourage stores to follow state and local mandates, which at this point would contradict the public health guidelines released by the CDC on Thursday.

“We are also reviewing whether masks may still be required for certain job codes for health and sanitation purposes and will share additional guides soon,” reads the report, which should temporarily hold off a wave of outcry from mask devotees.

The update to CDC guidelines instructing Americans to ditch the mask for any type of indoor gathering has already inspired counties like Los Angeles to run on social media and uphold their COVID restrictions.

Looks like this upcoming Fourth of July may see an abundance in Kirkland Signature Vodka and 48-ct of Nathan’s hot dogs unlike any Independence Day before it. Throw in some Vanilla Bean Sheet Cake from Trader’s for dessert and a slice of Costco pizza for good measure.

Your move, Target.
