Caitlin Clark's Constant Whining Is Getting Old

Throwing her arms into the air in disgust when a foul is called on her. Yelling at the refs as if she never fouls. Constantly whining. Yelling STFU. Complaining to the point where her father tells he to STFU. Shoulder shrugs with her hands out like she's been assaulted on the court.

Caitlin Clark's constant whining act is worn out.

In the name of equality, if we're going to hammer LeBron for constantly flopping, bitching at refs and constantly acting as if he's never fouled another player on the court, then we need to have the same conversation about Clark.

But…but…but…IT'S PASSION…MEN DO IT, CAITLIN SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT TOO! YOU HATE WOMEN. YOU HATE THAT SHE CARES. YOU HATE THAT SHE'S SO GOOD. YOU HATE…BLAH…BLAH…BLAH.

Here's what I see as an outsider: I see the AAU-ification of basketball in general where everyone has to be the biggest damn mouth in the gym at all times. Everyone has to bitch and moan at the refs because that's what they've seen LeBron do for 25 years.

You're just a hater?

Actually, I like watching Clark the basketball player shooting from all over the place and figuring out the puzzle of how she's going to get open to use her quick release. I'm intrigued by her ability to find open teammates and her general basketball IQ. I've watched more women's basketball this year than at any other point in my life.

But, like a growing number of sports fans, I cannot stand Clark once a ref blows a whistle.

Arms go out. She acts like she's being charged with a felony. Her 'OMG, you're calling that on me?' mouth opens up.

It's the same arms out motion that LeBron has used his entire career. The running around the court with the arms out, the mouth open, the look of bewilderment.

Even her own dad had seen enough in Saturday's tournament game against Holy Cross.

You're an LSU fan.

I'm not.

You love scumbags like Angel Reese.

The only thing I know about her was the gesture to Clark in the national championship game a year ago.

You can't stand a strong woman being a powerful woman on the court because you're a scumbag male.

Again, in the name of equality and inclusion, I can't stand the complaining out of LeBron, Clark or any other athlete who throws his or her arms into the arm, or holds his or her arms out in a ‘Who me?’ motion after every whistle.

Get used to it, loser, because Caitlin is going to dominate the WNBA and be one of the biggest athletes on the planet.

We'll see about that. People actually care about college basketball because there are school rivalries and traditions involved. Am I going to sit down in June to watch Caitlin Clark play a ridiculously meaningless WNBA game on a Saturday night and complain the whole time when it is 75 and sunny at 9 p.m.? That's not happening, sis.

You're jealous.

I don't have a dog in this fight. I don't care who wins the women's NCAA Tournament. I'm a viewer. I'm looking for athletes doing incredible things. I know what I see, and it seems a growing number of other viewers are seeing the same.

Tell me I'm wrong and why Clark's antics are good for the game.
