Britney Spears Celebrates Freedom By Ripping Off Her Clothes - Again

Britney Spears started ripping off her clothes on Instagram over the summer and now she just can't stop. Monday, the 39-year-old pop legend celebrated the return of Instagram to the Internet by ripping off a bathing suit top and showing off her strategically placed tramp stamp above her red swimsuit bottoms while wearing matching stripper boots.

Brit Brit, who turns 40 on December 2, has been on a social media content heater starting back in the summer and then culminating last week when it was announced that her father, Jamie, had been removed from her conservatorship. Britney celebrated that victory by ripping off all of her clothes and unleashing completely nude (with flower emojis to satisfy the Instagram police) photos while noting "no photo edits."

Now all that stands between Britney and complete freedom is a November 12 hearing where Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny is expected to terminate Spears' conservatorship now that Jamie has been removed from his role as conservator, which he assumed in 2008 and had pleaded to keep in place all these years to control his daughter's finances.

Britney “has been faced with a decade-long nightmare, Kafkaesque nightmare orchestrated by her father and others.” Rosengart pledged to pursue “even more serious ramifications for his misconduct,” the singer's attorney, Mathew Rosengart, said last week after Jamie Spears was removed from his role.

“He has been abusive, he has been cruel, he has been toxic,” Rosengart said in court.

And now Britney Spears is regaining control of her life privately and publicly, one Instagram semi-nude at a time.

According to records reviewed by Forbes, Britney's estate paid her father $16,000 monthly over 12 years. His full total payment received as conservator, according to those documents, added up to $2.4 million. Britney's net worth has been estimated to be in the $60 million range.

Other documents from the Spears' conservatorship show that she was allowed a $2,000 weekly allowance as she was making millions via work performing in Las Vegas. In a 2016 probate report, Britney told an investigator that her credit card "was held by her security team or assistant and used at their discretion."

And now, as she closes in on 40, Britney is expected to get her life back. How will she celebrate? Most likely by firing up more Instagram nudes. And maybe blowing a couple of thousand on her very own credit card.

Live it up, Brit Brit.
