Austin Butler's Upcoming Biker Gang Movie Looks Electric: TRAILER

Austin Butler looks like he'll bring the heat for the upcoming movie "The Bikeriders."

Butler is on an absolute roll ever since starring as Elvis Presley in "Elvis." The man is the star of the incredible "Masters of the Air" series and will be in the new "Dune" movie. He went from being a nobody to being a household name in the span of two years.

It certainly appears the momentum won't slow down with "The Bikeriders" with Tom Hardy. The plot of the movie is described as follows:

"Inspired by Danny Lyon’s iconic book of photography, ‘The Bikeriders’ immerses you in the look, feel, and sounds of the bare-knuckled, grease-covered subculture of ’60s motorcycle riders. Kathy (Comer), a strong-willed member of the Vandals who’s married to a wild, reckless bikerider named Benny (Butler), recounts the Vandals’ evolution over the course of a decade, beginning as a local club of outsiders united by good times, rumbling bikes, and respect for their strong, steady leader Johnny (Hardy). Over the years, Kathy tries her best to navigate her husband’s untamed nature and his allegiance to Johnny, with whom she feels she must compete for Benny’s attention. As life in the Vandals gets more dangerous, and the club threatens to become a more sinister gang, Kathy, Benny and Johnny are forced to make choices about their loyalty to the club and to each other."

Inject that kind of plot right into my veins. You really don't have to say much more at all to sell me, and the new trailer is guaranteed to make people more excited.

"The Bikeriders" looks like a must-watch movie.

Austin Butler is destined to be the biggest movie star on the planet, isn't he? At this point, every single thing he touches seems to be worth watching. It appears "The Bikeriders" won't be an exception to that standard.

This movie looks like it's going to be outstanding, and the cast is awesome. Butler and Hardy are joined by Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, Damon Herriman, Norman Reedus, Paul Sparks and Jodie Comer.

That is an incredible lineup, and judging from the previews, fans are going to be in for a very fun time.

Furthermore, there are few things cooler than a great biker gang story. Americans are simply obsessed with the idea of being an outlaw. Long gone are the days of outlaws in the Wild West. Biker gangs were a natural progression, and the genre has a proven record of success.

"Sons of Anarchy - while ridiculous at times - was a monster hit with viewers. It appears "The Bikeriders" will attempt to tap into the same vein, and do it while taking itself a lot more seriously than the famous FX series.

Butler is already rolling in 2024 with "Masters of the Air," "Dune: Part Two" premieres Friday, and "The Bikeriders" comes out June 21. There's no turning back for him. He's destined to be a star. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
