Animal thunderdome strikes again with captured alligator in Florida.

As OutKick readers know, I constantly urge people to keep their head on a swivel when it comes to the animal thunderdome. Nature isn't your friend.

While we all love the family dog, the creatures out in nature view you as a snack - not as a friend. They're not cute or meant to be pet.

It's a war out in the nature streets, and alligators are right near the top of the list of animals to be careful with. In fact, gators are getting so confident that they're even chasing down people in golf carts.

It's truly dark times out in nature these days.

As for this situation, that alligator was far from a small little baby. It was a big boy that decided to just go for a stroll on the tarmac at MacDill Air Force Base.

It's lucky it's just a gator because a human trespassing at the home of Special Operations Command Central might not be treated so well.

Imagine being a security guard protecting a bunch of planes, and then seeing a huge gator that definitely doesn't want to be messed with. Not ideal. Not ideal at all, folks.

Fortunately, it appears they were able to get the creature under control without too many issues. However, it's a great reminder to never let your guard down when it comes to dealing with the animal thunderdome. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
