Chicago Cubs pitcher Alec Mills completed the 305th no-hitter in MLB History today against the rival Milwaukee Brewers. The 28-year-old hurler threw just one season with the Kansas City Royals in 2016 before his current stop in Chicago.

Somewhat of a surprise to see Mills throw a no-hitter when he’s never been much of a force in the big leagues. With a 4.74 ERA this year, baseball truly reveals itself as the most unpredictable game in the world. Alec completed his no-no on a REFRESHINGLY high 114-pitch count.
Congratulations to Alec Mills on the incredible accomplishment!
Awesome! Congrats to Alec!
As a lifelong Cubs fan, it would only be poetic for Chicago to win another title in a crazy year like this. They aren’t a team anyone wants to match up with in the playoffs.
