College Football Is Back, And That Means More Gus Johnson Excitement

Videos by OutKick

College football fans should be excited this season as FOX Sports’ Gus Johnson is just as lively as ever.

Johnson reminded us all as he called the Ohio State Buckeyes and Minnesota Golden Gophers game Thursday night.

Ohio State narrowly held a 24-21 lead towards the end of the third quarter. With Minnesota threatening, quarterback Tanner Morgan fumbled the ball after he was sacked, FanSided reports. Defensive tackle Haskell Garrett scooped up the football and returned it a 32-yard touchdown, extending the Buckeyes’ lead to 31-21.

Johnson screamed “Haskell the Raskell” once Garrett scored the touchdown.

  1. He is far and away the most gay announcer out there. Thank God I was at the game so I didn`t have to listen to him while watching it on TV. This guy cums in his pants after a two yard gain. There are some good announcers out there (and some bad ones), but he is nearly unlistenable.

  2. I really enjoy Gus (and Joel). I think Gus dispenses his enthusiasm appropriately, and Joel doesn’t babble nonstop like other color commentators. And they are not biased, at least not overtly. I think they make a game better vs. other commentators who wear me out with babble and bias.
