Clay: Woke All-Stars Of Sports Media Silent On Deshaun Watson

It seems as if a new woman -- or three -- is accusing Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault with each passing day. Yet so many in the sports media who aggressively spoke out about similar situations in the past are now suspiciously silent about Watson, says OutKick founder Clay Travis.

Using the controversy surrounding Brett Kavanaugh's 2018 appointment to the Supreme Court and #BelieveAllWomen hashtag that trended on social media at the time as a primary example, Clay suggested Watson is basically getting a free pass from those who had previously roared.

"Those same people -- what I would call the woke universe of sports media -- are now not saying anything at all about the (16) women who have filed lawsuits," Clay says. "Do their voices not matter now? Do you not hashtag, 'Believe All Women?'

"What is going on here, that Brett Kavanaugh has one accuser, and everybody decides that he's guilty and that you have to hashtag, 'Believe All Women,' and there's borderline mobs running throughout the capitol confronting senators over how they are going to vote on this nomination.

"Meanwhile, we have a ton of minority women accusing Deshaun Watson, a hundred-million-dollar athlete at the supreme height of power, of sexually assaulting them and the same people, these woke all-stars, have gone completely mute."

Woke All-Stars. That really is the team for which some of these sports media members play.
