MLB Is Living In A Universe Of Lies, Say Will Cain and Clay Travis

“Major League Baseball is living in a universe of lies,” Will Cain of Fox News told Clay Travis this morning on OutKick.

Will joined Clay for his weekly radio hit to discuss MLB moving its All-Star Game, the problem with boycotts, sports media, Baylor’s redemption, Beijing Winter Olympics and more.

“The truth is, companies and CEOs have become spineless,” Will goes on about MLB’s decision. “Anyone who is willing to look an inch deep into the Georgia voting bill would know all the criticisms are complete B.S.

“Rob Manfred turned this universe of lies into a reality. He let lies dictate reality.”

Clay says the relocation of the game, which he calls “idiotic,” has completely changed the trajectory of how sports are talked about.

Will crushed the MLB more, pointing out the results of the move:

Clay and Will also discussed the fear that many individuals in sports media have about revealing their true opinions publicly.

“So many people texted me about our OutKick Woke Bracket Challenge and said, ‘This is the greatest thing ever, but I would never admit to the fact that I love it because it would impact my career,'” Clay laughs.

  1. I Love Sports as much as food and water, but i hope baseball hits a wall after this season when their contract with players is up.

its time America sees how greedy and pointless baseball brass and players are. last year they could have played the entire season starting july 4th.

they fought over money and then played two lousy months of bad baseball. Some pastime.

    Fuck MLB!

    • I love sports, always watched whatever game was on, football, basketball, baseball, golf, hockey, etc. Ever since wokeness (that word is for you, Jamele) took over, I’ve curtailed viewing immensely. Watch a little golf and college football. Found other things to do and, frankly, don’t miss it. My wife can’t believe how my viewing habits have changed.

  2. These spineless “it will hurt my career” cowards are a big part of the problem. If they haven’t noticed legacy media is dying, there are alternatives popping up all over, never mind DIY. The market will pay for talent, so they either lack that, are truly cowards, or just have to be on TV constantly.

  3. Getting lost in the ASG kerfuffle is the question of whether MLB should cancel the game permanently? The players don’t care about a mid-July exhibition game. Without a doubt, had the game NOT been moved from Atlanta, players would have used that as an excuse to skip. Many will find another reason.

Part of the specialness of the ASG died with interleague play in 1997. But the game should have been put out to pasture after Selig ended it as a tie in 2002.

  4. In a nutshell, we all know these woke (just for you, Jemele) corporate moves by MLB, Delta, Woke-a-Cola, etc., is to avoid being called a racist. Period. Most may not even believe in their own moves, but do it to avoid the “R” word tagged to their permanent record, as my school teachers said way back in the day. And why has O’Biden become so woke at age 78? Same thing. The man was flat out humiliated by his own VP back in the Democratic debate a few years ago. Look at the tape and look at his face when she branded him a racist. It was the whipped puppy dog look. I am convinced he decided at that moment in time to never let that happen again, so he, well, went woke.
