Clay Travis: Liberals Change Narrative On Biden As Hospitalizations Hit All-Time High

Joe Biden's entire presidential campaign was centered around ending COVID. That much isn't up for debate.

So why are hospitalizations at an all-time high? And what do those who voted for Biden have to say about it?

Those are questions to which OutKick founder Clay Travis would like some answers.

"The United States just set an all time record for COVID hospitalizations per @wsj hitting 140,576 today," Clay tweeted. "Joe Biden promised he would shut down the virus. He has failed. Utterly."

For those wondering about Biden's promise, it came during a presidential debate when he looked into the camera and said about the virus, "I will end this." When we all saw he couldn't, he turned toward pumping up vaccinations, even aiming to mandate them.

At first, Biden said the vaccinated wouldn't get the virus. Turns out that was terribly off too. So now Biden and his followers have fallen fairly silent on the matter. Either that, or denying they ever expected the vaccines wouldn't slow the spread. It only lessens the symptoms, they now shout.

Yeah, OK.

"It’s no coincidence that as this new covid hospital record is set and Biden is being held responsible for these hospitalizations," Clay tweeted, "Democrats are suddenly attempting to argue the difference between being hospitalized with covid and being hospitalized because of covid."

Bottom line: Biden was foolish to promise to stop the spread of a virus, and those who voted for him were dumb to believe he could. But that can be politics for you. Marketing slogans, rally cries and empty promises. And despite the attempts at spin jobs from Biden's supporters, he's just as guilty as anyone, if not more.
