Following the news that a third woman has accused New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo of unwanted sexual advances, CNN’s Chris Cuomo, the governor’s younger brother, addressed the situation at the top of his show on Monday.

“I have always cared very deeply about these issues, and profoundly so,” Cuomo goes on. “I just wanted to tell you that.”

Viewers are understandably curious about the changes in Cuomo coverage at the network over the last year. Chris covered his brother frequently last spring, interviewing Andrew more than 10 times. As we covered, CNN recently announced that it reinstated a “rule” that prevents the primetime host from covering his brother. You can read my full thoughts on that here.
