Chiefs Fan Knocked Out Chiefs Superfan ‘X-Factor’

It’s officially a trend — Chiefs fans now have a two-game streak of beating up each other at Arrowhead Stadium where Patrick Mahomes is struggling for the first time in his career and fans are clearly hitting their breaking point with a disappointing 2021 season.

Now 2-3 after back-to-back Super Bowl appearances and looking up the standings at a Los Angeles Chargers team that has all the components necessary to win a division crown, Chiefs fans are clearly melting down in a way that is atypical for a franchise that was known to fight opposing fans, not their own.

But here we are with yet another incident. The Kansas City Star reports the fan hitting the stairs in this one is Chiefs superfan “X-Factor.”

An eyewitness reports that X-Factor “threw a bottle of water at guy in yellow. Guy in yellow walked up and decked him without saying a word.” Another eyewitness reports “they are both season ticket holders and there has been problems between them before.”

There are reports that this showdown had been brewing and it finally boiled over during a thumping at the hands of the Bills.

  1. I quit going to the Chiefs games about 5 years ago as the last two games I went to there were fan fights right next to me with beer thrown and hyper tensions. They were between chiefs fans so that is nothing new. I couldn’t justify putting my 13 year old teenage son in danger anymore. This is before Mahomes and Covid. As far as I could tell no one was punished for those two incidents so there was no reason for it to stop so I stopped going.
