Report: Eagles Expected to Trade Carson Wentz Soon

The NFL is getting wild again. Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter are reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to trade Carson Wentz in the coming few days.

Here's the juicy part, the Eagles want the farm in return:

"The Eagles are said to be looking for, in the words of one well-placed source, ESPN reports, "'a Matthew Stafford package' in return for Wentz. The Lions traded Stafford to the Rams last weekend for a third-round pick this year, two future first-round picks and quarterback Jared Goff, the player selected directly in front of Wentz as the top two picks in the 2016 NFL draft."

A Matthew Stafford package, huh? Are the Eagles going to take back a grossly overpaid, mediocre QB like Goff? Doubt it.

The Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts are among the teams that have expressed some interest in Wentz. The report says other teams could also be in play.

Put me down for the Colts.

Thank you, NFL.
